The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani at the invitation of the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor has travelled on an official visit to this country.
This visit will reaffirm the excellent relations with Slovenia, where President Osmani will discuss with her counterpart Pahor the possibilities of deepening cooperation and interstate relations in a series of joint activities.
During this visit, President Osmani will also hold meetings with the leaders of the Parliament of Slovenia and the National Council of Slovenia.
During her stay in this country, President Osmani will give present an award to the Armed Forces of Slovenia for their contribution to peace and security within the NATO mission in the Republic of Kosovo, where thousands of Slovenian soldiers have served over the years.
On President Osmani's agenda during the official visit to Slovenia is also the meeting with the Kosovo emigration in Slovenia, a lecture organized by the Centre for the European Perspective and the Bled Strategic Forum, as well as the participation in the “Spring Awakening” exhibition, a co-production of the National Theatre of Kosovo and the Centre for Arts and Community – Artpolis which will take place at Nova Gorica Theatre.
