The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting the EU Special Representative for Dialogue Miroslav Lajčák and the United States Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Mr. Gabriel Escobar.
President Osmani reiterated the position that Kosovo is a constructive party, prepared and engaged in the dialogue process, focused on mutual recognition. “Kosovo has never contributed to tensions and has continuously committed itself to peace and stability as well as European solutions,” said President Osmani.
In this context, President Osmani expressed Kosovo's commitment to the continuation of cooperation and coordination with our partners, emphasizing that our country's engagement in dialogue is based on the protection of Kosovo's sovereignty, constitutional order and territorial integrity, which are inviolable.
President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo is built on the principle of a multi-ethnic society where everyone has equal rights, irrespective of their ethnicity.
