President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs .Atifete Jahjaga, on the occasion of November 28th –Flag Day, congratulated all the Albanians in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Presheva Valley, and anywhere else they might reside.
President Jahjaga’s congratulatory message states:
To all Albanians, wherever they are, in all the states of the region of South-Eastern Europe, Europe, USA and elsewhere, I wish to them felicitations of the Flag Day in peace, harmony, freedom and dignity.
This holiday reminds us of the most sublime sacrifice of the Albanian nation, of many a generations, for its identity, freedom and progress, as well as of its engagements for the unpreventable journey towards membership into European Union.
Flag Day is one of the greatest values of the Albanian nation and it has been kept alive for all the future generations, in memory of the glorious past and endeavours for a brighter future for all of us.
On this Flag Day anniversary, we are moving towards the path of progress, with consolidated states and societies, endeavouring to further democratize our countries of the South-Eastern Europe, to come closer to EU and NATO, as well as other international organisations. This marked day is a day of our future in peace, harmony and good neighbourliness with all.
Therefore, let us work and strive for the good of all the citizens, wherever they are, for a richer life and for a safe and better future.
