President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the representatives of the Gorani community from Dragash municipality, Mr. Fergap Zaimi, Mr. Veis Šerifi and Mr. Nasuf Brenolli- member of the Consultative Council on Communities.
On this occasion, President Jahjaga conveyed her felicitations to the Gorani community living in Kosovo for the May 6th, Gorani Day. She said that Kosovo is a state built on civic principle, where each citizen regardless enjoys equal rights, rights ingrained in our Constitution.
Representatives of the Gorani community from the Dragash municipality, Fergap Zaimi, Veis Šerifi and Nasuf Brenolli, informed Madam President with the conditions in which the members of this community live and work and with the preparations for the marking of May 6th, Gorani Day.
