President Jahjaga received the Ambassador of Turkey to Kosovo, Ms. Kivilcim Kiliç

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Ms. Atifete Jahjaga, received at a meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Ms. Kivilcim Kiliç, with whom she discussed joint projects stemming from the National Council on Survivors of Sexual Violence during the War.

President Jahjaga highly praised the determination of the Turkish Ambassador for the offering of the support to the survivors of sexual violence during the war through various projects, some of which have already being implemented, as is offering of free healthcare services, and also the economic empowerment though numerous trainings and financial support.

President Jahjaga emphasized that such projects contribute to the aims of the Council, the rehabilitation, reintegration and re-socialization of the survivors of sexual violence during the war. She also pointed out that there is still work left to be done, beyond current achievements, in order to achieve the rehabilitation of survivors and fighting of the stigma which still reigns, and expressed her dedication to the supporting of survivors of sexual violence till the final

Turkish Ambassador, Ms. Kivilcim Kiliç congratulated President Jahjaga for the institutional support offered to the victims of sexual violence and expressed her determination to continue the support to this category.
