President Jahjaga received the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Miljan Majhen

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Republic of Kosovo, who on this occasion presented his Letters of Credence to Madam President.

President Jahjaga stated at the meeting that Slovenia is one of the very first countries which recognised the independence of Kosovo and is one of the greatest supporters of our country for many decades. She praised highly the existing cooperation and bilateral relations between Kosovo and Slovenia and emphasized the readiness of the institutions of Republic of Kosovo to further expand this cooperation on all fields of mutual interest for both countries, for the region and beyond.

President Jahjaga congratulated Ambassador Majhen on his new tenure and offered him the full support of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo during his mandate in Kosovo.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Miljan Majhen, expressed the dedication of the institutions of the state of Slovenia to continue their support for Kosovo and to further expand and advance the already excellent relations with the institutions of our country.
