The President of the Republic of Kosovo Madam Atifete Jahjaga received today the Ambassador of Canada in Zagreb, non-resident for Kosovo, Mrs. Louise LaRocque.
President Jahjaga discussed with Ambassador LaRocque about the general developments in our country and the possibilities of strengthening the interstate cooperation between the two countries in all fields of mutual interest.
She highly praised the support provided by Canada to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in all the state-building processes.
The Ambassador of Canada Mrs. Louise LaRocque expressed her country’s commitment to deepen and strengthen the cooperation with the institutions of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga, together with Ambassador LaRocque visited the project “Girls Coding Kosovo, Open Data”, through which the training of girls in the use of information technology is done. This project, which is supported by the Government of Canada and the Kosovo Women’s Network, aims to increase the transparency of the work of the institutions.
