President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a joint meeting the leaders of parliamentary political parties, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, PDK President, Mr. Isa Mustafa, KDK President, Mr. Ramush Haradinaj, AAK President, Mr. Slavko Simic, Leader of the Srpska List and Mr. Mahir Jagxhillar, representative of the 6+, in order to discuss the overcoming of the situation in the country.
Ambassador of the United States of America, Mr. Greg Delawie and European Union Special Representative, Mr. Samuel Zbogar, were also present at the meeting.
President Jahjaga thanked the leader of parliamentary political parties who have responded to her invitation to re-establish the position-opposition dialogue, as a way to renew the fundamental democratic consensus in Kosovo.
During the meeting, which was held in a constructive atmosphere, political leaders presented their viewpoints for the overcoming of the political blockade and expressed their readiness to look for a common solution.
