President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting a delegation of the Association of Pensioners of Kosovo, led by Mr. Shaban Kajtazi, Chairman of the Association.
Representatives of the Association of Pensioners of Kosovo, informed President Jahjaga with work and activities of the Association, as well as the issues faced by the pensioners of Kosovo. They praised as grave the situation of the pensioners of Kosovo and emphasized the need for the regulation of their position through the approval of the law on pension schemes.
Representatives of the Association also informed Madam President on the requests presented to the international institutions for the solution of the problem of the Kosovo Pensions Fund, on basis of contributions made.
President Jahjaga stated that she understands the requests of the pensioners of Kosovo and stated that institutions of the country are dedicated to, based upon the laws and the Constitution of the country, find a solution acceptable for the pensioners of Kosovo.
