President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, paid her homage’s today and laid flower wreaths at the tomb of the historic President of Kosovo, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova.
“I came here today to pay my institutional and state’s respect to Kosovo’s first President, historic President, architect of independence of Republic of Kosovo, dr. Ibrahim Rugova, who established the alliance and eternal friendship with the USA and all countries of European Union” stated President Jahjaga after paying homage.
Honouring the important national figures, at the eighth anniversary of independence, President Jahjaga also paid homage at the statue of the Hero of Kosovo, Zahir Pajaziti, at the memorial complex in Prekaz, memorial complex in Gllogjan and complex of martyrs in Gjakova.
Në nderim të figurave të rëndësishme kombëtare, në përvjetorin e tetë të pavarësisë, Presidentja Jahjaga bëri homazhe edhe para shtatores së Heroit të Kosovës, Zahir Pajaziti, në Kompleksin Memorial në Prekaz, në kompleksin memorial në Gllogjan dhe në kompleksin e dëshmorëve në Gjakovë.
