President Jahjaga met with the leaders of the parliamentary political parties

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, within the process of the facilitation of the discussions with the leaders of the parliamentary political parties, has met today in separate meetings with the President of the PDK, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, the President of the Vetevendosje Movement, Mr. Albin Kurti, the President of the LDK, Mr. Isa Mustafa and the President of NISMA, Mr. Fatmir Limaj. Because of the commitments of the President of the AAK, Mr. Ramush Haradinaj, President Jahjaga has developed a telephone conversation with him on the issue of the faster construction of the national institutions.

President Jahjaga during the conversations with the leaders of the parliamentary political parties has called them to move more quickly towards the construction of the sustainable institutions, in order not to put the country into a deeper crisis. She reiterated the position that the solutions must be found within the constitutional framework and based on the decisions of the Constitutional Court and stressed the necessity that the leaders, estimating the seriousness of the situation in which the country is, to offer solutions which lead to the building of the institutions, looking for ways to avoid the repetition of the elections.

President Jahjaga stressed that the delay in the building of the institutions of the country is endangering the commitment and cooperation of Kosovo in the international processes, especially in the field of security and is damaging its partnership with the international community in various fields. Kosovo can not remain isolated due to the inability to find solutions for its institutions.

She said that the finding of a rapid joint denominator from the meetings could lead to a larger, mutual meeting, to conclude the whole process.
