The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, met today with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Mr. Isa Mustafa, the Chairman of the Judicial Council Mr. Enver Peci, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor Mr. Sylë Hoxha and the Kosovo Police Director Mr. Shpend Maxhuni, to discuss about the steps of the law and order bodies in the fight against corruption and organized crime.
President Jahjaga stressed that the fight against corruption and organized crime should be intensified and urgently addressed to open the economic outlook of Kosovo and its progress in fulfilling the reforms for visa liberalization and European integration.
Today’s meeting is part of the recommendations deriving from the National Council Against Corruption to intensify law enforcement in these fields.
