The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga expressed her condolences through a telegram to family Merxha, on the passing away of their most beloved one, Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Haxhi HafizZylfiMerxha.
In the telegram it is said:
Honored family Merxha,
With sorrow I received the news of the death of Mr. Haxhi HafizZylfiMerxha, Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in three legislatures, signatory of the Declaration of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo and President of the United Roma Party of Kosovo.
I share with you, honorable family Merxha, the pain of the loss of your loved one, remembering his tireless work and commitment for the building and strengthening of the state institutions of Kosovo, for the development of democracy, the political representation of the Roma community and for the representation of this community together with the Egyptian and Ashkali community in the Assembly of Kosovo.
On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, on behalf of the institutions and on my personal behalf, please accept the most sincere condolences.
