President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, in congruity with the Article 84, sections 4 and 19, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, and Article 7 of the Law Nr. 03/L-121 on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, and based upon the decision of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo for the proposal of judges of the Constitutional Court, has decreed today the appointment of Ms. Gresa Caka-Nimani and Ms. Selvete Gërxhaliu as judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo.
After receiving the proposal made by the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, President Jahjaga today executed the decreeing of the two judges, thus completing the all nine judges of this court.
Judges Gresa Caka-Nimani and Selvete Gërxhaliu swore the oath in front of President Jahjaga.
The oath swearing ceremony was also attended by Ms. Arta Rama-Hajrizi, President of the Constitutional Court.
