The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today in separate meetings, initially the leader of the PDK, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the vice-chairman Mr. Kadri Veseli and later at a joint meeting the leader of the LDK, Mr. Isa Mustafa, the leader of the Vetëvendosja movement, Mr. Albin Kurti, the leader of the AAK, Mr. Ramush Haradinaj and the leader of NISMA, Mr. Fatmir Limaj, to discuss about the process of creating the institutions of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga at the meetings held stressed that the rapid construction of the institutions of the country is a necessity and this will open up the perspective for citizens of the country and the democratic processes. The President once again reiterated the fact that solutions must be found within the constitutional framework, in accordance with the decisions of the Constitutional Court and stressed that the parliamentary political party leaders must find the ways to discuss the solutions together for the constitution of the Assembly, which opens the way towards the creation of the institutions of the country.
She said that the leaders of the parliamentary political parties must offer proposals and suggestions to come out of the created situation to ease further discussions between them.
The leaders of the parliamentary political parties praised the importance of the meetings with the President and stressed the need to reach the solution for the creation of the institutions of the country.
The meetings of President Jahjaga with the leaders of the parliamentary political parties will continue during the upcoming days.
