President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, held a meeting today at which they discussed the engagements and activities they undertook during this year, the achievements of Kosovo both at the internal and international levels as well as activities, alignment and institutional coordination expected during the year 2013.
President and the Prime Minister welcomed the initiation of the activities in border management control between the state of Kosovo and the state of Serbia, considering this to be a joint success in the application of a European standard in relations between two countries which benefits all citizens and helps the countries of the region on their journey towards European Integrations and strengthens the peace and stability.
