The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today a high-level fact-finding delegation of the United Arab Emirates, represented by the public and private sector, led by the Chairman of the Department of Economic Development, His Excellency Ali Majed al Mansoori.
President Jahjaga praised the delegation’s visit to Kosovo, stressing that the cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, who have helped Kosovo during the most important periods of state building, is of particular importance and it should be strengthened in various areas, particularly in the one of economic development. She particularly praised the support that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, continues to give to Kosovo and his support to increase the level of cooperation in the field of economy with Kosovo. She said that Kosovo has great potentials both natural and human and offers a good climate and security for investments and business, especially in the field of agriculture and energy, but also in other fields.
The chairman of the Department of Economic Development of the UAE, His Excellency Ali Majed Al Mansoori, said that he is honored to visit Kosovo with the invitation of President Jahjaga and praised the very good relations between the two countries. He said that the delegation is on a fact-finding mission, composed of representatives from various sectors, in order to find the areas on which to build and expand the cooperation, aiming for it to be long term.
The visit of the delegation from the United Arab Emirates comes after the last meeting that President Jahjaga has developed in Abu Dhabi with the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with whom she had discussed on the deepening of the economic cooperation and the investment of the UAE in Kosovo, in various fields.
