The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today the President of the International Judo Federation, Mr. Marius Vizer, to whom she awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit, for the assistance in the internationalization of the sport of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga thanked Mr. Vizer for the great help he has given to Kosovo in the field of sports, in the process of its membership in the IOC and in particular for the great help he has given to the Judo Federation of Kosovo. She said that with Kosovo’s membership in the IOC and other international federations the young men and women of Kosovo will be inseparable and important part of the international sport which will enable them to demonstrate all abilities, talents and sport skills by representing their country on the international scene.
The President of the International Judo Federation, Mr. Marius Vizer congratulated President Jahjaga, the institutions of Kosovo, the Judo Federation and the Olympic Committee of Kosovo for the membership in the important international institutions of sports and said that the support for Kosovo in the field of sport will continue.
At the meeting of President Jahjaga with the President of the IJF Mr. Vizer also present were Minister Memli Krasniqi, the President of the KOC, Mr. Besim Hasani, the President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Mr. Fadil Vokrri and the world famous sportswoman of Kosovo, Majlinda Kelmendi.
