He was killed by the very Serbian genocidal machinery that feared his hope inspiring wisdom. The agreement on the abolition of visas between Kosovo and Brunei Darussalam was signed during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani to Brunei Darussalam. The agreement was signed by President Osmani and His Majesty, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. This decision is an important step towards the expansion of cooperation between the two countries and a concrete relief for our citizens, by improving connectivity, cultural and economic exchanges. President Osmani praised this agreement as another proof of friendship and mutual respect between the Republic of Kosovo and the Sultanate of Brunei.
President Osmani received with royal honours by the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, accompanied by the First Gentleman Mr. Prindon Sadriu, who are on a state visit to Brunei Darussalam, were received today with royal honors and a Ceremonial Guard by the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah. The intonation of the national anthems was accompanied by 21 cannon salutes, as a sign of honor and respect for this state visit, which is being carried out at the invitation of the Sultan of Brunei, Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah. On this occasion, President Osmani thanked His Majesty, the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, and Her Majesty his wife, for their hospitality and unwavering support to Kosovo since the post-war period, and then with the recognition of independence and in further processes in strengthening of our statehood, including membership in international organizations. At the center of the discussions were bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation in areas such as economy, tourism, and information technology. President Osmani emphasized the importance of further support from His Majesty to the empowerment of Kosovo in the international arena, especially in the Southeast Asian region, and appreciated the active role of Brunei in this regard. On the occasion of the state visit, the Sultan of Brunei also organized a state banquet in honor of President Osmani and the First Gentleman in the presence of members of the royal family, the government of Brunei Darussalam, as well as members of the diplomatic corps. At the end of the meeting, President Osmani invited His Majesty Sultan Bolkiah for an official visit to Kosovo, as a step to further deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and the First Gentleman, Prindon Sadriu, have traveled to Brunei upon an invitation from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei, for a state visit, marking the first-ever visit of a Kosovo head of state to this Southeast Asian country. During the state visit to Brunei Darussalam, President Osmani will be received with high state honors and will hold meetings with His Majesty Sultan Bolkiah at the official residence Istana Nurul Iman. During this state visit, His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei and his wife, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha, will host a state banquet in honor of the visit of the President and the First Gentleman. During this visit, President Osmani will deliver a speech to the diplomatic corps, students, and academic staff of the University of Brunei Darussalam. In Brunei Darussalam, President Osmani will also meet with other members of the royal family and the governmental cabinet, as well as visit some of the most famous cultural monuments of this country.
