President Sejdiu receives leaders of Mothers Appeal Association

The President of Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu, received today a delegation of Mothers Appeal Association, headed by Mrs. Nysrete Kumnova. The meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Ramë Manaj and the Minister of Justice, Mrs. Nekibe Kelmendi, discussed country’s institutional efforts to shed light on the fate of missing persons, especially on those that await identification following scientific analyses on remains stored at Prishtina morgue.

“Our and Republic of Kosovo people and institutions’ permanent vision is a speedy integration into international institutions, such as the OSCE” – the President of Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu, said during a meeting that he had today with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Mr. Marc Perrin de Brichambaut.

“The people and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo highly praise the significant support that Norway has and is still providing to our country” – the President of Republic of Kosovo Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu said during a meeting today with Mrs. Elisabeth Walaas, Norwegian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

On the other hand, Ambassador Deniau reaffirmed the commitment of its country to continue to support Kosovo in all areas. “France will be standing by you until you finally accomplish your objective of being a part of the European Union and NATO” – Ambassador François-Xavier Deniau affirmed. He also asserted that his country will engage in strengthening the existing cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions, particularly in the areas of common interest.

Sejdiu hails the end of hearings at the ICJ, awaits new recognitions for the state of Kosovo

At the conclusion of hearings at the Hague International Court of Justice (ICJ), the President of Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Fatmir Sejdiu, expresses his high consideration for the maturity with which proceedings were conducted by the Court and his appreciation for all the countries, which, through their representatives, have presented once again strong arguments that have also been decisive for the independence of our country.
