Please allow me to initially express my gratitude to the Embassy of the United States of America and the British Embassy in Kosovo and the Kosovo Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims, who are making sure that the voice and the needs of the women, the victims of the candid violence of the last war in Kosovo, do not remain silent and unattended.

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Ms. Navi Pillay.

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, was received today in Vienna by the Speaker of the National Parliament of Austria, Ms. Barbara Prammer, who was accompanied by representatives of the groups represented at the National Parliament of Austria.
President Jahjaga met with the President of Austria, Mr. Heinz Fischer
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, is currently on an official state visit to the Republic of Austria, by invitation of the President of Austria, Dr. Heinz Fischer. She was received with the highest stately ceremony and today had meetings with the President Fischer and Speaker of the Parliament of Austria, Ms. Barbara Prammer.

President Jahjaga received the Ambassador of Afganistan, Siaullah Mahmud
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today the Ambassador of Afganistan to Sofia, accredited to Kosovo on non-residential basis, Mr. Siaullah Mahmud, who presented his letters of credence to Madam President.
President Jahjaga received the Ambassador of Kuwait, Najeeb Al-Bader
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Kuwait to Tirana, accredited on non-residential basis to the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Najeeb Al-Bader, who on this occasion presented his letters of credence.
