The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during her stay in Brussels, met with the High Representative Kaja Kallas. President Osmani wrote: In Brussels, I thanked High Representative Kaja Kallas for her continued support for Kosovo’s European integration. Following the announcement of the partial lifting of the measures, I reiterated the necessity of their complete lifting, as all the conditions set by the European Union have now been fulfilled. We will continue to work closely with Ms. Kallas and all our partners until these measures are fully lifted.

Madam President at the meeting with President of the European Council, Costa: We welcome the EU decision to partially lift the measures, while we hope and strive to have them lifted in full as soon as possible

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during her stay in Brussels met with the President of the European Council, António Costa. President Osmani wrote: In Brussels, I was welcomed by the President of the European Council, António Costa. We welcome the EU decision to partially lift the measures, while we hope and strive to have them lifted in full as soon as possible. The Republic of Kosovo has demonstrated constructiveness, cooperation and full compliance with the foreign and security policy of the European Union. At the meeting, I emphasized that Kosovo has fulfilled all the conditions set by the EU itself, no matter how unfair they may be and therefore, there is no reason to hinder or delay the lifting of the remaining measures. On the other hand, we hope that as soon as possible, we will have the support of all member states so that Kosovo, based on its merits, obtains the status of candidate country for membership in the European Union.
