President Osmani visited the municipality of Drenas
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, visited the municipality of Drenas today as part of her visits to the country’s municipalities. On this occasion, President Osmani was received by the Mayor of the municipality of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci. During this visit, Madam President met with members of the Municipal Assembly, women engaged in business, education, healthcare and civil society. During her visit to Drenas, the President also visited the Business Park and stayed at the “Xhevë Lladrovci” school in Gllanasella. President Osmani consoles the family, friends, the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, as well as the cultural community on the passing of the academician Rexhep Ferri
Kosovo today lost the academician, painter, poet, prose writer and essayist Rexhep Ferri. His creative skill has wonderfully intertwined painting with literature, which he did not part with throughout his life. Academician Ferri belongs to the golden generation of Kosovo painters and his name will forever be engraved in our memory through his diverse artistic creations, which will remain a testament to us and to the generations after us. I convey my most sincere condolences to the family, friends, the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, as well as the cultural community! May the memory of academician Rexhep Ferrin be eternal!
