Kosovo today lost the academician, painter, poet, prose writer and essayist Rexhep Ferri.
His creative skill has wonderfully intertwined painting with literature, which he did not part with throughout his life.
Academician Ferri belongs to the golden generation of Kosovo painters and his name will forever be engraved in our memory through his diverse artistic creations, which will remain a testament to us and to the generations after us.
I convey my most sincere condolences to the family, friends, the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, as well as the cultural community!
May the memory of academician Rexhep Ferrin be eternal!
