President Vjosa Osmani and First Gentleman Prindon Sadriu participated at the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum
Upon an invitation by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the First Lady, Emine Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, together with the First Gentleman of the Republic of Kosovo Prindon Sadriu, participated at the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. During their stay in Türkiye, President Osmani and the First Gentleman participated at the inaugural ceremony of the Forum as well as at the ceremonial dinner laid by President Erdoğan. During these activities, they had the opportunity to meet with heads of delegations and first ladies of the participating countries. On the second day of the Forum, the First Gentleman, at the invitation of the First Lady of Türkiye Emine Erdoğan, participated in the high-level event titled: “Building the Future in a Fragmented World: Transformative Power of Education”. This event aimed to foster dialogue on effective methods in building a developed, inclusive and peaceful society that prepares new generations for the future. In addition to the discussions with First Lady Erdoğan, the First Gentleman held fruitful conversations with the first ladies of amicable countries, representatives of international organizations and other high-ranking personalities participating at the event. The First Gentleman also participated in a cultural event organized by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, where handicrafts by local craftsmen and women were presented. At this event, he had the opportunity to converse with the Minister of Family Affairs Mahinur Göktaş, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Türkiye Yusuf Tekin, former presidents and other senior officials from Türkiye and other countries participating at the Forum.

The recognition by Sudan and concrete discussions with representatives of countries that have not yet recognized Kosovo, as well as meetings with many other partners, demonstrate our commitment to building new friendships and strengthening existing alliances. Kosovo is increasingly strengthening its position in the international arena thanks to the unstoppable work and support of friends who have always stood with us.

President Osmani: Kosovo remains committed to an active foreign policy in the service of its citizens
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, within the framework of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, in addition to meetings with counterparts also held separate meetings with the Foreign Ministers of: Sudan, Mr. Ali Yousif Ahmed Al-Sharif, Kenya, Mr. Musalia Mudavadi, Jordan, Mr. Ayman Safadi, Tanzania, Mr. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Chad, Mr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul Cadi and Niger, Mr. Bakary Yaou Sangaré. During her stay in Antalya, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio. President Osmani wrote: I had the pleasure of meeting with Julius Maada Bio, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, in Antalya. We discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. We also discussed concrete opportunities for cooperation in various areas of common interest. We also exchanged invitations for respective visits to our countries, to further strengthen our friendly ties and open new chapters of cooperation.

President Osmani wrote: The people of Kosovo and the people of Syria have experienced countless suffering from dictatorial and genocidal regimes, in their fight to be free. Today, with the President of Free Syria, Mr. Ahmed al Sharaa, we had our first meeting to open new chapters of cooperation between our two countries. Kosovo and Syria share the same wounds: the pain of war, displacement, and the challenges of reconstruction, and Kosovo is ready to share its experience in building democratic institutions.
