The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at the end of August – the month of youth, had a conversation with young people and representatives of youth organizations about the need and opportunities for the most active engagement of young people and their empowerment through initiatives and different mechanisms.
“We discussed with them various topics and in particular addressed issues such as: vocational training and non-formal education, youth employment, mental health, youth activation at local and central level, empowerment of girls and their activation in STEM, volunteering “, as well as the integration of young people in the public and private sector”, said President Osmani.

August – the month of youth, could not be concluded without a pleasant, constructive and meaningful conversation with our young people and representatives of youth organizations about their needs and opportunities for a most active engagement of young people and their empowerment through various initiatives and mechanisms.
We discussed a variety of topics with them and in particular, we addressed issues such as vocational training and non-formal education, youth employment, mental health, youth activation at the local and central level, empowerment of girls and their activation in STEM, volunteering, as well as the integration of young people in the public and private sector.
Extremely inspiring is the fact that our young people, despite many barriers are unfairly subjected to, are Olympic champions today in sports and science, are superstars in the field of music and art, are leaders of change, and remain some of the most mindful, innovative in the region and beyond.
