The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani commemorated the Massacres in Qyshk, Zahaq, Llabjan and Pavlan.
The head of state said that the targeted aim of the Serbian forces was the ethnic cleansing of this part.

Today is the 22nd anniversary of the Massacres in Qyshk, Zahaq, Llabjan and Pavlan. On the morning of May 14, 1999, Serbian police and military forces, in a planned attack exercised their cruelty on the Albanian civilians, thus killing 44 people in Qyshk, 17 in Zahaq, 21 in Pavlan, and 13 in Llabjan.

A trial against the accused, which commenced a decade ago in Belgrade, has not as yet ended.
Justice is a prerequisite for lasting peace in the region. The perpetrators of this monstrous crime must receive the punishment they deserve, the victims must rest in peace, and the families must find solace!
