President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Japan to Austria, accredited to Kosovo on non-residential basis, Mr. Makoto Taketoshi, who presented his letters of credence to Madam President
President Jahjaga thanked Japan for the continuous help it is providing to the citizens and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. She emphasized the need for further expansion of the relations between the two countries, in particular in the field of economic development.
Madam President congratulated Ambassador Taketoshi on his new appointment and wished him a successful tenure.
Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Taketoshi, expressed the readiness of his country to expand the bilateral cooperation with Kosovo on all fields.
