President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, met with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Mr. Xavier Bettel.
President Jahjaga and Prime Minister Bettel discussed the processes which Kosovo is going through, its international consolidation and recognitions. Madam President informed Prime Minister Bettel with the achievements of Kosovo and its role as a factor of stability in the region and promoter of peace. She said that Kosovo aims membership in international institutions, especially in the UN and EU, considering Luxembourg’s role in these two mechanisms as important in helping in recognitions and membership.
Prime Minister Bettel praised the achievements of Kosovo and pointed out the advances in the process of normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. He said that his country appreciates the developments in Kosovo and will engage in Kosovo’s integrational processes.
