President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant – General Kadri Kastrati, who was accompanied by the KSF Deputy Commander, Major-General Mr. Rrahman Rama and the KSF Inspector General, Brigade-General Mr. Bashkim Jashari.
President Jahjaga and FSK Commander Kastrati discussed the preparations for the forthcoming celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo and for the engagements that KSF is undertaking for the celebration.
General Kastrati informed President Jahjaga for the individual activities undertaken by KSF and for the presentation that KSF will carry out on this day.
President Jahjaga stated that the fifth anniversary of the independence has a particular importance as it marks the building of the independent state of Kosovo as a state built upon European values. She also said that marking of this anniversary must be done in such a way that it represents our state in a dignified manner.
