On the anniversary of the commencement of NATO’s intervention in Kosovo, we commemorate one of the most defining moments in our modern history.
On March 24th 1999, faced with a human tragedy from Serbia’s genocidal action, the most powerful military alliance in the democratic world took decisive action to stop the cruelty of the criminal regime. It was an act that ended a dark era and paved the way for freedom and peace.
“NATO air, just do it” remains a symbol of the call to action in defense of universal values, a call that was heard and translated into historic decision and responsibility.
Eternal gratitude to the women and men of NATO who stood on the right side of history.
This day reminds us that freedom and peace require constant commitment and that, in decisive moments, action is what defines history.
