Madam President has not postponed but on the contrary, is organising the Lama Dinner
We would like to inform the public opinion, that Lama Dinner, a traditional manifestation in Kosovo, will this year be held on November 9th, at the Ibrahim Rugova Square, and is open to all the citizens of Kosovo.
We would also like to inform the public that the article in the “Tribuna” daily newspaper, dated November 8th, with the title “Madam President postpones the Lama Dinner”, contains in itself factual and contextual distortions, for the purpose of denigration and political gain. Invitations for attendance of this year’s Lama’s Dinner have been sent shortly before the publication of the above mentioned article at the “Tribuna” daily.
Lama’s Dinner has not been cancelled, as Ms. Vjosa Osmani presumes, who, utilising her political position, attempts in vain to denigrate the figure of the President, for her own ambitions and political gain in Kosovo.
The statement made by Vjosa Osmani, that President Jahjaga has withdrawn from official usage the Presidential Seal, is a prevarication, as the Presidential Seal has not been removed from the official documents of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, and it was present on the banners of the Lama Dinners organised by the President Jahjaga. This can easily be verified through photographs published at the President’s official website, www.president-ksgov.net .
The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo hereby expresses its utmost indignation on such unverified and deceitful press articles, which cause confusion in public opinion.
