The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has welcomed the announcement of the competition for the post of the Chief State Prosecutor.
According to her, this act by the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council restores the prospects for a regular, transparent and merit-based process.
“It is important that the entire process be conducted in an impartial and credible manner, away from any political influence or narrow interests, so that the most competent candidate with highest professional integrity is elected as the head of the State Prosecution”, said Acting President Haxhiu.
Acting President Haxhiu said that citizens’ trust in the justice system is built precisely through fair, transparent and merit-based processes.
