The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received the United States Chargé d’Affaires to Kosovo, Ms. Anu Prattipati.
The latest political developments in the country were discussed at the meeting, including the constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the Government, with emphasis on the importance of concluding constitutional processes and full institutional consolidation, in the function of democratic stability, the development of the country and addressing the needs of citizens.
Kosovo’s role in the Board of Peace as well as further steps in this direction were also discussed. In this context, President Osmani reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to full alignment with the United States of America, in accordance with the country’s strategic interests, as well as to the continuous expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
