President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received at a meeting the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Adriatik Llalla. Meeting was also attended by the Chief State Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Aleksandër Lumezi
President Jahjaga and Mr. Llalla discussed the expansion of cooperation between the justice institutions of Kosovo and Albania. On this occasion, Madam President expressed the importance of successful conclusion of reforms of the justice system and exchange of best practices between the justice institutions of both countries in fighting of corruption, organized crime and illegal trafficking.
President Jahjaga also pointed out the importance of expansion of bilateral cooperation in facing of global challenges, such as terrorism and radical extremism.
Prosecutor General of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Adriatic Llalla, highly praised the cooperation between the General Prosecution of the Republic of Albania and State Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo and expressed readiness for further expansion of this cooperation.
