The working group on Gender Equality established within the Council for Democracy and Human Rights held its sequential meeting

On the eve of International Women’s Day, the Working Group on Gender Equality of the Council for Democracy and Human Rights, established within the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, held its sequential meeting, during which the collection and analysis of data on gender-based violence was discussed extensively. This meeting, which is a continuation of the discussions held at the last meeting of the Working Group in November 2024, welcomed the Canadian experts with expertise in building data systems and interpreting and communicating trends and analyses on gender-based violence.

In addition to direct discussions with the Working Group members, a key part of the meeting was the presentation of various global data collection models. Effective communication methods on sensitive issues, such as gender-based violence, were also presented.

This meeting was held within the framework of cooperation between the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of Canada through the TAP-EDM program.
