The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Nasip Naço.
President Jahjaga and Minister Naço praised the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania and stressed the need to expand this cooperation particularly in the field of rule of law and order and in general between the institutions of justice of the two countries.
President Jahjaga said that priority for the institutions and the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo is the rule of law and order and the fighting of organized crime and corruption. She emphasized that the success in this field will help the overall development of the country and will accelerate the integration process of Kosovo into the European Union.
The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Nasip Naço praised the reforms the institutions of justice in Kosovo have made and expressed the readiness of the Government of Albania to deepen cooperation with the Kosovo institutions in all fields of mutual interest.
