International Down Syndrome Day is in the function of promoting awareness, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
We need a joint commitment for a society where everyone is valued for who they are and where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
By challenging our prejudices, we create an inclusive society where everyone feels welcome and valued.
People with Down syndrome have a lot to offer and for this reason, we must ensure that their talents and abilities are recognized and appreciated.
