The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani stated on the KLA Veteran's Day that we remember with respect all those boys and girls of our Liberation Army who made our freedom possible.

On KLA Veteran's Day, we respectfully remember KLA girls and boys who made our freedom possible.
Today we also remember the sacrifice of the legendary commander Adem Jashari and his family who on December 30 1991, had the first battle with the forces of the Serbian genocidal regime, thus marking the beginning of armed resistance and at the same time the announcement of our freedom to come.
The sacrifice of the KLA martyrs and veterans will serve as a guide to us in strengthening the state and protecting the hard-earned freedom!
