The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with GIZ Kosova in order to strengthen the role of civil society in Kosovo towards a speedier advancement of the Agenda for Women, Peace and Security.
The role of civil society in accelerating the full implementation of the Agenda for Women, Peace and Security is essential, especially at the local level. As part of the next edition of the International Forum for Women, Peace and Security, which will be held this April in Pristina, the signatory parties will offer support opportunities to local NGOs by providing space for the presentation of idea projects related to developing gender and climate responsive policies, and encouraging women’s leadership in climate action.
This cooperation serves as a confirmation of Kosovo and Germany to work together aiming the creation of a safe, peaceful and stable environment for women and girls.
