The solemn inauguration ceremony for the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Her Excellency Justina Shiroka-Pula, took place today.
The ceremony was attended by heads of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, representatives of central and local government bodies, political representatives, Members of Parliament, representatives of diplomatic missions and ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Kosovo, and other public figures.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Her Excellency Justina Shiroka-Pula, officially assumed office from the Acting President, Albulena Haxhiu.
This official handover marked the institutional transfer of the President’s responsibilities, in accordance with the country’s institutional procedures and practices.
On this occasion, President Justina Shiroka-Pula emphasized her commitment to exercising her institutional responsibilities in the service of the citizens and the Republic of Kosovo.
“Our goal is to work and contribute to the interests of all the country’s citizens, and in the interest of the Republic,” said President Justina Shiroka-Pula.
In this spirit, the start of the new presidential term marks a new phase in the functioning of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, with particular emphasis on institutional responsibility, respect for the Constitution and the laws of the Republic, and the discharge of duties in the interest of the citizens and the country.
