Today, the first meeting of the technical team for the review of the legislation accepted by the EU, for the formation of the Special Court, was held. The technical group will be consisting of the Minister of Justice, Mr. Hajredin Kuçi, as the leader of the Team, the Minister of the KSF, Mr. Haki Demolli, the Minister of Education, Mr. Arsim Bajrami, the President of the Supreme Court, Mr. Fejzullah Hasani, the President of the KJC, Mr. Enver Peci, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Sylë Hoxha, the Advisor for Legal Affairs advisor of the President, Mr. Selim Selimi, and the expert, Ms. Donika Qerimi.
At this meeting there was discussed about the issues related to the legislative changes associated with specialized chambers, within the institutional activities and obligations as approved by the Assembly of Kosovo.
The technical team met today for the first time after the agreement, days ago, of the leaders of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for its establishment and the review of the necessary documents.
The technical team will meet on regular basis and will discuss about the issue of legislation and international agreements with the European Union team, mandated for the planning of the operationalization of the Special Court.
