The Acting President of Kosovo Dr. Jakup Krasniqi has sent a letter to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Haris Silajdžić, congratulating him on the voting at the European Parliament in favor of scraping visa requirements for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Honorable Mr. Haris Silajdžic,
It is a special pleasure for me to congratulate You and the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on behalf of the people and the Republic of Kosovo and on my personal behalf, on the voting at the European Parliament in favor of lifting visa requirements for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina travelling to the EU countries.
By welcoming the European Parliament’s report on visa liberalization, which opens the door to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina to move freely, I want to express my firm belief in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s success in integrating into the European Union.
I assure Your Excellency that the Republic of Kosovo will engage in strengthening relations and cooperation between our countries.
