Summary of President Osmani’s visit to the United Arab Emirates

President Vjosa Osmani, during her visit to the United Arab Emirates, upon an invitation by the President of the Emirates, participated in the World Governments Summit in Dubai, and met with her counterparts and representatives of states of many countries around the world. During this official visit, Madam President met with:

During the Summit, President Osmani also delivered three speeches conveying the clear vision of Kosovo as a state oriented towards long-term development, ready for the next generation economy and open to international cooperation. She outlined country’s transformational journey, from post-war reconstruction to the consolidation of a state based on the rule of law, strengthening fundamental rights and placing human dignity at the center of innovation and modern governance.

President Osmani also participated at the International Forum on Human Fraternity and the annual ceremony of the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity, held in Abu Dhabi, at the invitation of the organizers of this global forum for peace, dialogue and international cooperation.

During her stay in the Emirates, Madam President awarded the Emirates Presidential Medal of Merit to the ‘Red Crescent’ organization, in recognition of this organization’s extraordinary humanitarian contribution to the people of Kosovo. The medal was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent, Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei.
