Today, President Vjosa Osmani, together with the First Gentleman and her Cabinet, paid homage to the
former Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Academician, professor, Nexhat Daci.
A memorial academy dedicated to the life and work of Prof. Dr. Nexhat Daci was organized under Madam President’s patronage. In her speech, President Osmani praised his tireless engagements in serving higher education, science and democratic institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
President Osmani expressed her most sincere condolences to the Daci family, relatives, friends and associates of the deceased, honoring his valuable contribution and the lasting legacy he left behind in the service of the country and society.
As part of the state commemorative agenda, President Osmani also participated in the state funeral ceremony of Academician Daci.
