Prishtina, August 21, 2020 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the credential letters of the new Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Kosovo, Thomas Kolly.
President Thaçi has welcomed Ambassador Kolly and expressed to him the gratitude of Kosovo for the continuous support that Switzerland has given to the people of Kosovo for decades.
“We are grateful for the support in the past, but also for the support that the Swiss Confederation gives to the state of Kosovo today”, said President Thaçi.
Ambassador Kolly expressed his happiness for the new task and added that he will be committed to further advancing the relations between Switzerland and Kosovo.
President Thaçi emphasized that in every meeting, with every Kosovar leader, as Ambassador of Switzerland, he will receive the message of cooperation and continuous support for the advancement of relations between the two countries.
