Prishtina, September 6, 2016 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, will participate at the 26th edition of the Economic Forum which is organized in Krynica, Poland from 6 to 8 September.
This international conference is organized every September since 1992 and has become the most important forum of Central and Eastern Europe, including political leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, media representatives and representatives of civil society who gather to discuss main economic, social and political issues.
This year’s edition of the forum is entitled “United or Divided? Europe in the Face of the Challenges of Tomorrow” and apart from the 6 plenary sessions it is expected to have also 180 specific panels for 12 different fields of social life, as well as about 3,000 participants from around the world.
Besides President Thaçi, other leaders who will speak at this conference are also the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, the one of Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, the one of the Czech Republic, Bohuslav Sobotka, then the Prime Minister of Poland, Beata Szydlo, the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Tibor Navracsics, and the Presidents of the Parliaments of Lithuania, Poland and Georgia.
