Zagreb, June 01 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi after meeting with the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, has also had meetings with the Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković and the President of the Parliament, Gordan Jandroković.
President Thaçi, after the meeting with Prime Minister Plenković said that Kosovo and Croatia should work harder in the growth of trade exchanges and the cooperation in the field of education, technology, culture and sport
“The cooperation in the field of economy should be the priority of our two countries. The immediate concrete steps may be the opening of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and the possibility of seasonal employment of Kosovars in Croatia”, said President Thaçi.
Whereas, with the President of the Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, President Thaçi has discussed about the possibility of strengthening the overall cooperation between the two countries.
“Croatia represents a model for the countries of the region in the implementation of the reforms which are the main criteria for the acceleration of the path of the Balkan states into the European Union”, stated President Thaçi.
