The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka Pula, has received a congratulatory letter from the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, on the occasion of her assuming of office.
In the letter, President Van der Bellen highlighted the excellent relations between Kosovo and Austria in the political, economic, and cultural spheres, as well as the strong human ties between the two countries. He expressed his appreciation for the significant role played by the Kosovar diaspora in Austria.
The Austrian President emphasized his readiness to cooperate with President Shiroka Pula to further strengthen these relations, with a view toward a shared European future.
In the letter, Van der Bellen also reaffirmed Austria’s commitment to the integration of all six Western Balkan countries into the European Union, assuring that Austria will continue to support Kosovo in its reform process and its progress toward European integration.
At the conclusion of the letter, the Austrian President wished President Shiroka Pula success in the accomplishment of her mandate.
