The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka-Pula, received in a meeting today the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Petrit Malaj.
Ambassador Malaj congratulated the President on her election to office and expressed hope that bilateral relations between the two countries would be further strengthened during her term.
President Shiroka-Pula emphasized that Kosovo and Albania should continue to move forward together and support each other. She underlined that, in addition to increased coordination in foreign policy, Kosovo expects strong support from Albania on its Euro-Atlantic path and in the process of joining international organizations.
The two interlocutors agreed to deepen cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
